Proposal Planning • Compare Two Mountain Experiences
If you want your proposal on Mt. Fuji itself, two premium experiences stand out — the summit and the 6th Station. Both are extraordinary, but they feel very different. Here's how to choose.
Why the mountain, not the lakeside
Many couples propose at lakeside viewpoints with Mt. Fuji in the background. For some, that's exactly right. But if you want to be on the mountain itself — to make the proposal as meaningful as the place — there are two signature experiences to consider.
The summit experience takes the moment above the clouds. The 6th Station experience offers a quieter, more private setting before the hiking trail opens. Both are fully planned and photographed, but they suit different styles, levels of effort, and ideas of what "the moment" should feel like.
Neither experience guarantees access or perfect conditions. Whether either can proceed is always confirmed based on your chosen date, official trail or road access, weather, and a final safety assessment.
